HARMONY
"For the artist or student"
Harmony used to be the largest manufacturer of guitars in the world. They manufactured instruments under the Harmony name and under various other names like Silvertone and Airline for department store chains and catalogue dealers. Although the majority of Harmony-made instruments were cheap (Harmony dealer and collector Ron Rothman has coined the expression "Harmony - The people's guitar"), they were good guitars with pickups made by DeArmond or Gibson.
Here are a few Harmony-made guitars from my collection. Not for sale unless specifically advertised as such. I'm more interested in buying than selling, so please let me know if you have a H-44 or an Espanada with aluminum "Harmo-Metal" binding for sale!
