The eagerly awaited package from Kevin Bacon (...not THAT Kevin Bacon) arrived containing parts for both my Meteor and Silvertone projects.

It's essential to have contact with other Harmony/Silvertone enthusiasts if you want to restore these guitars. They're not like Gibsons and Fenders which have a whole spare part industry ready to sell you anything you need.

Here are the modern Schaller tuners that the Meteor had installed:

Replaced by Grover Sta-Tites which are pretty close to the original tuners:
